Safety Tips

• Meet in public places

Choose a busy, well-lit location such as a mall parking area or a community centre. Avoid meeting at private residences for first-time exchanges.

• Inspect before paying

Always see, test, and verify the item in person before any money changes hands. For cars, request service history and inspect at a trusted garage.

• Avoid advance payments

Never wire money, share OTP codes, or pay deposits to secure an item you haven't seen. Legitimate sellers don't ask for upfront fees.

• Verify seller information

Check the seller's profile, ratings, and how long they've been on Findyway. Ask for an official ID or trade licence for high-value items.

• Report suspicious listings

If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is. Use the Report button on any listing to flag it for our moderation team.

Findyway is a listings platform and does not take part in transactions between users. Always use common sense and follow local laws when buying or selling.
