SMART HOME & NETWORK TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Smart Home & Network Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting smart home automation systems, low-voltage cabling, and robust Wi-Fi networks. • * Experience: Proven experience as a Smart Home Technician, Network Installer, or Low-Voltage Cable Technician.
• * Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Wi-Fi networking protocols, IP routing, signal strength optimization, and clean cable management.
• * Tools: Proficiency with basic hand/power tools and cable testing equipment.
• * Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, professional customer service, and strong communication skills.
• * Requirements: Valid driver’s license and a clean background check may be required.
• * Cabling & Infrastructure: Run, terminate, and test low-voltage cables (CAT5e, CAT6, coaxial, and fiber) in residential and commercial settings.
• * Network Setup: Install and configure wireless routers, access points, switches, and mesh Wi-Fi systems to ensure 100% coverage.
• * Smart Home Integration: Set up and program smart devices including smart lighting, security cameras, thermostats, audio/video systems, and voice assistants (e.g., Control4, Lutron, Ring, Nest, Alexa, Google Home).
• * Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex connectivity, hardware, and cabling issues.
• * Customer Education: Guide clients through their new systems and teach them how to use their smart home applications.
